Who are you?
Who who who who?
I really want to know!
Sorry, I'm done channeling "The Who"!

This blog carnival is truly as easy as it sounds...
Each week, The (Un)Experienced Mom and I will pick a category, then ask you to share your Top 3 thoughts on it. We hope you'll play along with us!
This week, we want to know...
This question was also submitted by a blogging friend, Scott @ "This Daddy's Blog". It was too much fun to pass up!
#3) Princess Mia (Anne Hathaway) in "The Princess Diaries"-- preferrably, the sequel (when she's a little bit more grown up and not as gawky). Because, quite frankly, who doesn't secretly want to be royalty?
#2) Christine in "Phantom Of The Opera" (here played by Emmy Rossum). First, the costumes in this period-piece are absolutely fantastic. Second, I'd love to be able to sing like "Christine". But most of all, the story is so haunting-- in the Gothic fashion-- that even 18 years after seeing this musical on stage for the first time, it still gives me chills. And movie character I would most like to be is...
#1) Jody Sawyer from "Center Stage". Yeah, she's a wet noodle who takes an emotional beating from "Cooper Nielsen" (aka, the amazingly talented Ethan Stiefel) for most of the movie, but when she puts on this red costume and does fouette after pirouette after fouette in the closing dance number, I'm always in awe. Just to have that type of talent!!!

Oh I am the first to comment and I have no idea who I would want to be...Well maybe the sister to Vin Diesal in the Fast and Furious Movies or the character that Angelina Jolie played in Gone in 60 Seconds.
I know a really bad girl at heart, maybe that is why I married the bad boy in real life?
Who knows, a fun topic!
Elizabeth from Pride and Prejudice (does the BBC version count as a movie? Colin Firth is my ultimate Mr. Darcy). I love the period, the politics, the clothes, the respectability, the letter writing...
Just about any Judy Garland character in just about and Judy Garland movie... especially In The Good Old Summertime. I love being able to sing anywhere and have my own portable soundtrack. And again, the clothes, the time period, the letter writing....
And, for #3, Sarah Jessica Parker's character in my FAVORITE movie ever: Janey in Girls Just Want to Have Fun. Total 80s classic with dancing and hair to match. Best movie EVER.
I love all of these movies but I don't see myself in them ... =) Happy Thursday
Oh My Word... JODY SAWYER!! I LOVE that movie!! What about when she's offered the lead in Cooper's dance company and then she starts kissing the only cute (straight) guy? Love it!! Great choices:)
Wow, I'm really liking the Royalty idea, go figure!
I'm a scifi chick therefore, I'd want to be on a spaceship somewhere or on the Avatar moon.
:-)
I'm working on my ideas :) haha, my luck they'll all be from musicals cause um...I kinda love musicals :)
Of course ... a princess ... who wouldn't want that! Unless, that is it was mid-evil times and you faced beheading if your kingdom was over-thrown ;-)
Oh, I've always dreamed about being Princess Mia! I loved the movies & the books even more. I could totally see myself being her!
Thanks for choosing my question. You made me feel more awesome than I already think I am. That means I think I am really really awesome.
Go Kobe and MeBron and his fake hurt elbow SUCK!
Interesting response.
Off the top of my little brain, I would go with the main characters in Fletch, Indiana Jones, or Starsky and Hutch--lots of adventure in all of those.
One of my favorite movies is Center Stage!!! Love it! Ya I would Jody's character any day!
Ill be linking up in few...
Always fun to "be" the Princess!
Good choices!! Most people have never seen Center Stage but I really like the dancing in it! My 3 would be Elizabeth Darcy (BBC version w/ Colin Firth), Christine (totally hear you on that one!), and Agent Dana Scully, just so I could work with Fox Mulder all the time!
Hmmm.....this is too hard!! Maybe Anne Hathaway in the Devil Wears Prada?? Or Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blonde or Sweet Home Alabama( yet I would marry the rich guy, I mean come on he took her to Tiffanys and said pick one!!)
So many fun movies....I could list so many more!!
Great question!
Ohmygosh! Two of my FAVORITES up there, Mia and Jody!!! Loving you even more right now! :-D
I love The Princess Diaries...
I watch little girl movies all the time. Even if there is no little girl (besides me) to watch them with!
Ooh this is a fun one! There are so many movies out there that I could pick, but it would defintiely be a romantic one! I am thinking maybe...
Danielle De Barbarac from Ever After! I like Princess Diaries too!
Yes to Center Stage! I also LOVE the scene where she is in red, such talent! I am glad someone else share my enjoyment of that movie.
I also second a commentor from above, Anne Hathaway's character in Devil Wears Prada! That movie is a guilty pleasure of mine. I have no "style" and I love watching that movie and thinking about how I too could be fashionable!
Great topic this week!
Yes, Princess Mia wouldn't be bad...Did you see her closet :)
Awwww, I love Center Stage.. SOOO would want to be her too!! cheesy dance movies are such a guilty pleasure for me =)
I was totally going to play along today. I was writing the post, then got distracted, then it was one thing after another, now just barely getting back on the computer after a very long day. Had a root canal on top of all the chaos, not fun!
I liked what you came up with though, wouldn't it be nice if we could ALL be princesses :)
I did add my giveaway to mommyhood though.
I didn't get the chance to play today because I've been reading. I wanted to Thank you for the book recommendation from your Read it Forward. I finished The Last Summer (of you and me) today! LOVED IT! I got so involved that I didn't do much of anything else. I always appreciate finding something new to read.
And I love Princess Mia, I would so want to be her.
Love your blog.....and have enjoyed looking around...Sunday evening blog hopping.....
Have 2 great giveaways that I am drawing for on late tonight.....
Hope you will stop by.

Love your picks! Especially Princess Mia. And I agree - Princess Mia in the 2nd movie.
I'm cutting back on my blogging tons too. Doing some re-evaluating. Funny how we both ran into that wall at the same time, huh? ;-)
