Patti @ Emersyn Grace: Our Biggest Little Blessing!


Patti, like me, has a gorgeous little girl! But mothers with little boys out there, back off: Emersyn is spoken for already. Geez, I didn't realize the competition for a spouse began this young! And although Patti claims this post is about a stolen binky, I think the attractive older man in these pictures played a role too. But Patti is more than just a mom-- she's also an incredible person who has gone on an amazing personal journey of growth. Here's a little about her, in her own words:

I am a 29 year old wife of Brett, mama of Emersyn Grace and lover of life!! I have been blogging for many years but my blog took on a whole new meaning after becoming a mother. My daughter is the light of my life and I thank God for her every single night when I go check on her before going to sleep. I am fiesty, eternally optimistic, and believe that attitude is everything. My life isn't perfect but I am content and believe that my faith is the source of my joy in life, oh and my sweet family too!

I am currently in the process of losing 100 pounds which is a little daunting but it's totally happening!! I work part time but long to stay home full time with my daughter and any future siblings that she might have. I am hoping to transition to a SAHM this year; we'll see. In the meantime, I work part time for an insurance company, work part time in real estate and am very involved in ministry at my church. I enjoy a good book, date nights with my husband, finding good deals on clothes and Gymboree and pretty much anything that has to do with my daughter! Thanks Elizabeth for crowning me this week!!!"

Ladies, I am currently putting the nomination process on hold. Ya'll have flooded me with enough nominations to last until MID-JUNE! I feel so bad telling nominees about the extra-long wait, so I am going to ask you to halt the nominations-- for now-- and I will start it back up in the spring once the wait isn't as long!
