Last week, I casually mentioned we'd found a new nighttime toy to help G get to sleep...
I was overwhelmed by how many of you asked for details on the identity of that toy...
So, here it is:

She is the "Twilight Ladybug" by Cloud B...
Ladybugs come in several colors-- red, orange, yellow... some have spots, others don't... some even refer to them as ladybirds. But no matter what you call them or what they look like, just about all cultures consider them to be lucky.
And luck has definitely been a ladybug in our house over the past two weeks. Ever since this ladybug joined our family, she's soothed G to sleep each and every night. At first, I was skeptical (highly skeptical) that such a fun nightlight could calm-- not excite-- G. Bedtime has been a struggle in recent weeks, particularly with her recent colds. But rather than rile G up at night, being able to look at the Ladybug's stars projected in one of three colors (red, blue, or green) on her ceiling has helped her fall asleep!
I first learned about Cloud B when my mom purchased a white noise machine (cleverly disguised as a plush sheep) from them when G was an infant; we've used it every single night since. In fact, when the noisemaker in that Sleep Sheep went haywire about six months in, we called the company and they sent us a brand new one at no cost. This is a company with a proven track record of amazing customer service, and I whole-heartedly endorse BOTH of the products I own from them.
Now, the folks at Cloud B are extending you an offer, too! They're going to give you free shipping on all orders over $49 dollars between now and Feb. 26th. All you need to do is use this code at check-out:

Both of my boys have these...one has the ladybug and one has the turtle. A friend had one many years ago but was unhappy with how clear the stars show up. The ones we got for our boys in the last year are AWESOME - the stars are great! Both (ages 5 and 2) love to fall asleep to them. And when we travel and I get to sleep in the same room with them...I will admit that the stars are calming.
We have owned 2 twilight turtles, ~ sad the last one was stopmed to death when I allowed the in laws to BBsit,.. Asses i should make them pay for a new one,... But I won't get a new one till the boy is a lil older,.. I think They rock!
Have a nice weekend & Happy Un~Valentines Day!

Wow, those look great! And they seriously don't keep active kids up? I'm not usually one to pick up gadgets...but we may have to try that out for my doesn't ever want to go to sleep newly 3 year old :)
The ladybug is super cute. I wonder if it would help ME sleep? I also love the headline about breast implant bombs. LOL
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
My son has the TURTLE! I found it when he was about 2months old.I was like do i really wanna spend 40 bucks on this and YES I DID!lol Ilove that you can change the colors, that the battery last so long and its basically indestructable when my little man gets his hands on it!
What a fun night light! I could see how a kid would love one of those.
That is precious! Right now the hum of the humidifier works for us! :-D
OH wow...I have to get me one of those...my baby is waking up at night after sleeping through the night for two whole weeks, now.
They better make sure those terrorists don't fly...I don't want all the plastic surgeons in the unemployment line.

Addyson would love that! I will have to check it out since her birthday is in just a couple weeks.
My boys have the turtle one! They love it, but it doesn't soothe them to sleep, they prefer to play with it! Oh well, I'm sure when they are older they will appreciate it a bit more!
I didn't know they made noise machines that look like a sheep! My boys also use a noise machine, but during their naps! They are awesome.
Sigh, if only they made these when my boys were little. Happy Valentine's Day! Best, Pippi
Ahhhh, I have been waiting for this post all week! Yesssssssssss!!! Thank you for the tip. We have the dolphin white noise toy from Cloud B for Baby B right now and she is loving it!
We don't have anything like that, but we have a lullabye gloworm that has helped jonjon since he was 6 months old..(he's not 3 yrs old) He loves that thing. We always make sure we take it with us when we travel too! :)
I am an adult and I want one of those! They look super fun!
About a year ago I saw one of these and thought of getting one for my son because he was starting to not like the dark room at bedtime.
I still thing this is a nice one to have. I'm adding it to my wishlist so I don't forget in case he start not liking dark room again.
Ohhh.. I love those!! But we don't have any. I might just have to head on over there and use that awesome discount! : )
Their Twilight Turtle was the first-ever baby item of my son's. I bought it for him before we even began TTC! So it truly was the first thing ever baby-related to step foot into our house. We haven't used it yet, but I know that someday it will come in very handy. We also have the Sleep Sheep (Christmas gift from us to baby), but I haven't used it yet. Trying to keep unnecessary stimulus to a minimum. But once/if he needs it, we're ready! I love their whole line of products! I put the Lavendar Lab in his crib during the day every day to get that scent there for nighttime.
Glad you got to have dinner at your favorite place!
G. is a doll, but you know that, right?
