That is a good tip, except my husband calls his Mom every day. That's right EVERY day - on his way home from work (can you say "Mommy's Boy?) Fortunately for him he also calls me. Actually I think it's kinda nice. She's in her seventies, and was widowed a few years ago, so she does deserve his attention.

I make a point to call my 92 year old Grandmother every day. She always makes a point to tell me that out of all of her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids....I'm the only one that calls her. :) Great tip! Hate that it's the last one! :(

Without reminders from me my husband would NEVER call his parents. But now they've discovered texting and Facebook so they keep in touch virtually. I'm just fine with that :-)
