I can't believe it's 2010 already... I had finally adjusted to writing 2009 on my checks (yes, I still use them; how 1997 am I?), and now I have to get used to a whole new DECADE!
Do you have a New Year's resolution for 2010?
I don't.
Nope, not a one.
I don't plan to slash my budget.
I will not do it in a tree.
I will not do it this year, you see!
Each year, the top three resolutions across America are:
1) Lose weight
2) Quit smoking
3) Save money
And each year, the top three resolutions that go unfulfilled are:
1) Lose weight
2) Quit smoking
3) Save money
So this year, I'm not going to make a resolution. I'm not going to set myself up for disappointment. I'm not going to use one day as the jumping off point for the rest of my life.
Instead, I'm going to use every day for the next month as a chance to do one little thing to make my self, my family, and my home just a bit better.
Won't you join me?

My friend, Julia, and I are launching a 31-day campaign to help you turn 2010 into your best year ever. But we're not going to give you gimmicks. We're not going to tell you how to lose weight, or get to the gym more, or quit smoking. Instead, we're looking for real world information to help you do the one thing you probably really want to do this year:
I hope you'll join us this January (all you have to do is grab our new button!) as we post daily tips (look for them at the top of each of our blogs) to help you find new ways to maximize your time (with friends, with family, or just with a good book!), to help improve your self-confidence, to better organize your life to fit your needs... or maybe just laugh a little bit.
So, to heck with resolutions! I want to know what you're going to do in the next 365 days to make this the best year of your life! Here's to a

What a fabulous idea!
Wow, that's so cool what you guys are doing!
I too don't make resolutions. I have a couple "goals" for the new year.
Great Idea! Happy New Year! Dropped by from SITS.
Happy New Year! Glad to see that I got back from vacation just in time to get all the great tips for New Year, New You. Can't wait!
Happy New Year, Elizabeth! Great idea you have...looking forward to reading more of what it's all about.
Sounds great!! I grabbed a button and can't wait to see what you have in mind!
Resolutions really are over-rated. I set some goals for myself but nothing about changing behaviors. That's just too much pressure!
Good for you!! No resolutions sound so fab!! I do them just to get me pumped up to get back on a normal eating pattern after the holidays. Ha! Then I fizzle and I resume normal life goals. Happy 2010!! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog - I heart new friends!!
Ooooh! I love it! I love resolutions too (although I don't only make them in January) but I love this too. Can't wait to read the tips!
This is a fantastic idea. I am totally in! Loved your comment on my site about making "anti-resolutions." Makes me feel rebellious! LOL!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Awesome Idea!!!!!!!!!
I actually quit smoking New Year's day 2006. Today was my anniversary - four years smoke free.
Many people tell me they have never heard of anyone actually doing it.
This is a great idea.
Okay. Count me in.
What a great idea! Sounds much better than resolutions!
New here but had to comment! Are you inside my hear? lol I am reolution free in 2010...unless I change my mind:)
Hope you don't mind another follower!
i also have zero new year's resolutions. i mean. why confuse myself with promises i don't even want to keep.
