It is snowing again in the South...
Sorry, I shouldn't make fun
of what could be a not-so-serious
two inches of snowfall...

-God says you must start a blog. Ok, it's not God... unless you're a
-For Christmas, I got a pair of great fuzzy socks. I adore them, but they are leaving a trail of blue fuzz everywhere I go. Anybody have any tips to speed up the "defuzzing" process? I've already washed them twice.
-Despite my own tip of the day more than two weeks ago to make your dinner reservations for Valentine's Day, I haven't made my OWN dinner reservations yet. At this rate, we'll be having a romantic dinner at Hardee's.
-Has anybody seen that Weight Watchers is suing Jenny Craig over misleading ads? Isn't that a little like the pot calling the kettle black?
-DH has trained G to sit down whenever she eats. Overall, I think this is a good thing. Unless you're at a friend's house and G wants a pretzel; you ask her to say please, and she sits down in the middle of the room... and begs for food just like the dog!

"Fill In The Blank Friday"

This week's question is...
Geez Tamara, why do you have to make me so hungry when I could be potentially snowed-in at work tonight, left with nothing to eat but stale ham sandwiches in the vending machines?
This is a tough question, because I have a sweet tooth to rival Cookie Monster. I could take the easy way out and say the dessert trio at Outback Steakhouse; but I guess combining cheesecake, peanut butter cake, and the "Chocolate Thunder From Down Under" (not to be confused with this little bit of eye candy on the left) would be skirting my way around the answer.I would have to say the "Cookie Monster" from Cheddar's. Here's the menu description:
Who's hungry now???
Remember, tomorrow is the LAST DAY for my Great Wolf Lodge Vacation Giveaway. It's also the last day for my...

...campaign with my blogging buddy, Julia.
Starting Sunday, we have something even bigger and better heading your way. We've already helped you find a "New You"... now, how about some new stuff?

Romantic dinner at Hardees?
Step away from the computer, and pick up the phone.....now.
Great tip of the day. Must remember this one!
I haven't made a reservation either. I think I might make something at home.
I love your fragments! You are too funny!
Valentines Day? What's that? We haven't managed to get a sitter for it since we had kids. I guess it will be table for 4 at the Cop Mama household :-)
There's no Cheddar's around here, but I MUST try to replicate that dessert at home! It sounds delicious!!!
I've never heard of Cheddar's, but ohmygosh I want to find one now!!!
Too funny about the kiddo... I love it and thanks for making dieting hard ....lol
LOL! You have fun at that romantic dinner!
We always did the whole "sit down when you eat" thing to. They are 21, 18 and 15 now. I should remind them of that rule. Usually, they are running out the door when they eat.
I'm jealous of anyone, anywhere in the country who has snow. I want snow!
Happy Friday!
Even White Castle books up quick for V-Day!
It has been a long week... ours was going fine until my boy got struck down by pink eye! Ugh!
TGIF indeed! I love your Friday Frags and I REALLY love your new header (ok, it's probably not that new; I haven't been here in awhile!) One dessert? German Chocolate Cake, extra coconut. Mmmmmm...
LOL I just left a comment and my word verification was FORKSAL. Coincidence?
I want that dessert! The trio. I have such a sweet tooth. Desserts are their own food group around here.
I really hope we don't get any snow. Everything will shut down.
I entered your giveaway as many times as I possibly could! :)
I am totally going to have to read that article!!!
We don't have a Hardees here...I remember them growing up...kinda sounds good right now!
We're probably just going to cook a nice meal at home for Valentine's Day. I don't want to force either set of parents to have to babysit and give up their romantic time, and I don't feel like dealing with the overbooked restaurants either! I hope you can get reservations somewhere good! Where is Cheddar's? I want that dessert you described! Wow I am craving sweets now! Thanks a lot :-) That's so funny to me that the Pope is telling people to blog!
I did see that about the blogging priests and thought it was an interesting outlook.
Your socks sound so cozy and that Cookie Monster sounds incredible! Now I'm hungry!
That Cookie Monster sounds absolutely horribly wonderful!!!! Had me drooling over the keyboard! Thank you for not putting a pic of it up!!! whew! lol
well, i will in in mexico-sans hubby- on Valentines' Day, so Hardee's might be nice! Probably not crowded either!
I am an avid supporter of all desserts!!
I saw that Pope blog announcement too and as a fellow blogger who's Catholic, I say AMEN! :)
a small slice of chocolate cake with coffee and bailey's irish cream.
Love the tip of the day.
Kiran
Love the header and following you back! Looking forward to reading your "stuff!"
That sounds really good. I want one!
Its been snowing at my house since 2:30! Yet my friends 10 miles west of me have nothing!?
I loved your Friday Fragments! So funny! :)
Dinner at Hardee's...yum... :p
Love the new blog design...(I think it's new).
We are looking at at least 6 inches of snow now and it will keep coming down until after midnight. It was a day late! Go Figure.
Glad we didn't get the ice!
Have a great weekend.
You are too funny. At least you know if you want to quit your job you could have a career in comedy!
OMG, that is so funny about your daughter...I can so see our son doing that. I think he wants to be a dog.
That Cookie Monster sounds soooo good! I love ice cream and freashly baked cookies and marachino (sp?) cherries and whipped cream and nuts. Perfect combo of almost all the food groups...haha.
Pope Benedict is up with the current fashions lol... I just have to say that he's such an incredibly brilliant theologian! and any advice he has for strayed members of our church is awesome advice.
Literally almost all of my text books in my college theology classes were written by him <3

Post Script: I always said... "its not the south if it snows there. Real southern states don't see snow" Well trust me I've eaten my words these past couple of seasons!
Oh MAN! Now I AM hungry... For Thunder From Down Under yumminess! I have been to that show, and it is such a riot... My dad was going to Vegas with a bunch of college buddies, and I convinced him that they should go see a show and that Thunder From Down Under was THE show to see (I didn't tell him anything about it, just that he had to see it!) They didn't actually see it (they figured out what it was when they went to get the tickets), but his buddies STILL give him a hard time about it!
I don't know why my dad still loves me...
P.S. Thank you for the HOPE today... I can always use some of that! :)
My favorite dessert is from the CHeesecake Factory and it is alternating layers of delicious chocolate cake and sinful cheesecake - OMGosh inspiring!
oh, I LOOOVE Hardees! We don't have any around here anymore - they all closed...
I'd love a hot ham & cheese for Valentine's Day! That sounds delightful!
Stopping by from SITS - Happy Saturday!
We're experiencing a "snow event," even as I type this. And the thing is, it's a lot worse than all those hysterical weather dudes said it was gonna be...
The Saturday Sphinx
Great tip. And yes, I am very hungry after reading your dessert descriptions. I have a huge sweet tooth.
Does it mean that we've hit the Old-Married stage if I don't really care if we go anywhere for Valentine's Day? I swear its only been two years...lol
I'd like to partake in that Cookie Monster dessert. Yummm-y!
And I told you that you didn't have to get me a present for my birthday. But thanks for ignoring me and posting that delicious picture - great present! ;-)

Weird lawsuit!
DARN it! I missed your giveaway! Looked like a good one, too.
I love your romantic dinner fragment :)
I didn't realize the Pope was so "with it." He's a smart man (or at least has smart advisors.)
Oh, and the dessert? Creme brulet, for sure!
